Announcing...the Monday Night Club Burger Tour

Around this time last year, the Free Press published the Burger Issue in their Friday Savorvore section. It was soon followed by the beer issue, but that's another tour. Ever since then, I've been thinking about creating a tour to get the Monday Night Club out to sample burgers (and other fare) at some new restaurants.

Mountain Man, always the instigator, kept asking me: "When's the Burger Tour?"

I'm happy to announce the first stop on our tour: The Scuffer Steak and Ale House on Monday, December 6 at 6:30 pm.

Proprietor Mike Williams is SO EXCITED to host us. In fact folks, this may be one of the best burgers in town. You will have to be the judge. We can't all fit at the bar so Mike is going to outfit us with a table. (Please let me know if you plan to attend.) For those of us who want a burger, Mike is graciously extending the half price burger discount he offers on Wednesdays.


The Scuffer has a great selection of local beers, a nice wine selection and a great menu.

I'll record our exploits and promote our adventures via this blog. If you have suggestions, please let me know.
